A brief introduction to our birds

The Raptor Centre has 18 aviaries that are on show to visitors. 

Birds of Prey are generally solitary creatures, and this is why they are housed individually.

All of the birds are flown free during the course of the year, many of them can be seen in the regular flying demonstrations.
