Flying Demonstrations

11:30 & 15:00
Thursday - Tuesday
April - October

Featuring a different feathered line up at each display

Please be aware that Flying Demonstrations are automatically cancelled in the event of rain.

Hobbledown's calendar showing peak and off peak days can be found on their website.

Link in the right hand text box below.

The aim of the Flying Demonstrations is to capture the imaginations of young and old alike, and encourage everyone to care about Birds of Prey.

During the demonstrations, many of the birds will work close, sometimes brushing their wing tips past your face, or flying so close to you, that their flying equipment trails over your head!

There are always plenty of opportunities to take pictures of the birds using any device, and we encourage you to do so.

The birds can be seen throughout the day, resting in their aviaries.

It is important to give the birds freedom of choice - Flying demonstrations take place at the Flying Ground (next to the Willow Maze), 11:30 and 15:00 Thursdays to Tuesdays. Flying demonstrations are automatically cancelled in the event of rain, or nobody present at the designated flying times.

All of the birds are flown free during the course of the year.

Please visit the Hobbledown website for information on prices, opening times.
